Old Wesley Finish Tops in Metro League Division 4
The 3rd XV, playing in Metro League Division 4, have topped the league with a game to spare. Their 41-26 win over Malahide last Thursday means they are 17 point clear of next best Old Belvedere. The latter have two games in hand but still cannot catch Old Wesley. However we will have to wait a while before finding out who wins the title and if we can gain promotion. The league title and promotion (1 team) will be decided on a play off between 1st and 2nd place in the league.
