5 Old Wesley youth players were picked for the Leinster Metro U16s game v Leinster North Midlands Wednesday 18th Feb.

Old Wesley RFC is very proud to have had five U16 players in the starting team playing for the Leinster Metro Area v Leinster North Midlands in the 4^th Round of the Bank of Ireland Shane Horgan Cup.

Oscar Hurley at No. 1, Peter McCabe at No. 3, Daniel Rigney at No. 5, Tom Larke at No. 10 and Ben Gouldson at No. 12. Our boys played really well in tough conditions, with a final score of 11-0 to Metro. Old Wesley’s Daniel Rigney scoring the matches only try at Ashbourne RFC grounds.

Well done to the lads and their coaches.
