Metro League Div 7 – Old Wesley 10 Seapoint 3
Old Wesley 5ths took a giant leap towards reaching the League play off with a 10-3 win over League leaders Seapoint at Kilboggit Park. Played in cold, wet and breezy conditions first half tries by Conor Somerville and Ben Whitehead were enough to ensure the win. Old Wesley now lie joint 2nd, behind Seapoint, but with a game in hand. This was Seapoint’s first loss of the season; the two sides had drawn in the earlier encounter.
