The Old Wesley Annual Dinner took place recently at the Clubhouse , Donnybrook. The Dinner was attended by a large number of member and guests. Club guests included Presidents of other rugby clubs and associations, together with John Robinson, President of the IRFU and Debbie Carthy, President of Leinster Branch.
Old Wesley President Robbie Love welcomed everyone to the event before handing over to MC Henry Anderson. Old Wesley Senior Deputy President Ronan Bools proposed a toast to the IRFU, which was responded to by the IRFU President. Henry Anderson proposed a toast to the guests before handing over to Alan Lewis and Nigel Osbourne for a comedy question and answer session, with the latter impersonating a number of well known rugby figures,
After the formalities the members and guests adjourned for further light refreshments.
By all accounts a good night was had by all.
