Business Lunch a Big Success
Old Wesley hosted its first ever Business Lunch in the clubhouse last Friday 1st December. The event was a huge success attended by over 140 representatives and business contacts of some of Ireland’s leading companies.
The guest speakers were the newly appointed Tanaiste Simon Coveney, and his brother Patrick Coveney, CEO of Greencore. After a welcoming speech by Old Wesley President Paul Short the two guest speakers took part in an entertaining question and answer session hosted by Old Wesley’s Henry Anderson.
Also in attendance were Old Wesley members Philip Orr, President of the IRFU and John Feehan, CEO of the Six Nations, together with a large number of other members representing their respective companies.
There was unanimous agreement that this was an excellent and well organised event with a perfect balance between business and pleasure and something that will most likely be repeated again next year, if not before.
