Deceased members and friends

Old Wesley has learnt with sadness of the death of Bruce Lyster.  Bruce played junior rugby for Old Wesley during the 1960s and 70s before moving abroad for business reasons.  On his return he renewed his involvement as a pavilion member and was a regular attendee at various social events.  We extend our sympathies to his wife Gillian and the rest of his family.

We also extend our sympathies following the death of Pete Priestley in Birmingham.  Pete was a member of Kings Norton RFC and was very much involved in the Old Wesley/Kings Norton tours during the 70s and 80s.  Over the years a small number of Old Wesley members kept a close friendship with Pete.  We extend our sympathies to his wife Polly, his family and friends.
