Deja vu for Old Wesley in Metro League 1
Old Wesley 2nd XV will open their Metro League Division 1 campaign where they left off, against old rivals St. Mary’s. Old Wesley comprehensively beat St. Mary’s in last season’s Metro League Division 2 final to gain promotion to Division 1, and will meet the same club in the opening match of the forthcoming Division 1 competition on 22nd September. However this season’s encounter will be a bigger challenge as the opposition will be St Mary’s 2nd XV compared to last season’s 3rd XV.
