We are delighted to announce that the popular ‘Occasional Lunch’ will return on Thursday the 7th November when our Guest Speaker will be Kevin Beggs. A very appropriate and interesting speaker on the eve of the Ireland v New Zealand Autumn International at The Aviva Stadium, as Kevin is a New Zealander who moved to Ireland in 1995 from Christchurch. (Please see his biography below).

Kevin Beggs
Kevin has been the Rugby Competition Manager with the IRFU since 2018.
The Role includes all aspects of the All Ireland League from season planning, scheduling of matches, player transfers, rearranging canceled games and disciplinary issues.
A former AIL referee, Kevin’s position in the IRFU has him sitting on a number of World Rugby Administrative and Disciplinary Committees and he also acts as the IRFU Disciplinary Officer.
An honorary Irishman having moved here in 1995 from Christchurch NZ and by his own admission, supports the Irish team except when they play the All Blacks!
