Gavin Hind – Deceased
Old Wesley has learned with great sadness of the death of Gavin Hind after an illness.
Gavin was a very active player during the late ’80s and early ’90s. He was a member of the 3rds League and Cup double winning squad of 1988-89 and also won a Junior 4 League medal in 1993. A hooker, he was distinctive on the pitch as he liked to wear his collar of the old style jersey turned in; possibly a forerunner of the more modern collarless style.
We extend our sympathies to his family at this very sad time. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Old Wesley.
