Ian Burns – deceased
Old Wesley has learnt with sadness of the death of Ian Burns. Ian was a Wanderers man through and through but was a regular visitor to Old Wesley where he had many friends. He was always central to the great banter and friendly rivalry that exists between Old Wesley and Wanderers. He had an Old Wesley connection through his late father-in-law and Old Wesley past president Harry Burgess.
Old Wesley extends its deepest sympathy to Ian’s wife Jackie, children Robbie, Peter and Nicki, his extended family and many friends. Ian’s funeral will take place on Monday 4th August at 11.00 a.m. at Zion Church, Rathgar and afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
