Under 13 Metro League – Old Wesley 26 v Balbriggan 24
Congratulations to our Under 13s who won the Metro League last Sunday beating Balbriggan in the final, proving that our underage section is alive and well.
The team, captained by Daniel Rigney, were presented with the trophy and their medals by Niall Rynne, President of the Leinster Branch. See photo below.
We wish these players all the best in their future rugby, whether at school or in Old Wesley. Who knows, we may see some of these stars of the future playing All Ireland League Rugby, or higher, in a number of years time.
