Leinster Senior League – Old Wesley 18 Clontarf 19
Played under lights and in perfect conditions, Old Wesley came within a whisker of claiming a significant scalp at Donnybrook. An early try by Josh Pim and a second try mid way through the second half by Harry Noonan gave Old Wesley a 2 point advantage going into the last quarter. But Clontarf’s 2 penalty goals to 1 in the late stages were enough for the Northsiders to claim victory.
