It was all one way traffic as Old Wesley totally overpowered Navan in the first round of the D2a2b Cup at Donnybrook. Wesley crossed for 8 tries, one each from Andrew McCrann, Darren Horan, Stephen Boyle, Steven Harvey and Johnny Carroll, together with 3 from Barry McLaughlin. McLaughlin added 6 conversions and 2 penalties for a personal match tally of 33 points. Indeed it would have been higher only James Burton and Johnny Carroll kicked a conversion each in the closing stages of the match.
