Nicky Adams – Deceased
Old Wesley has learnt with great sadness of the death of Nicky Adams after a long illness. Nicky joined Old Wesley during the 1960s and was a very active junior player during the 60’s and 70’s. He was a regular club tourist traveling to Amsterdam, Kings Norton and other destinations with the club. He was also Honorary Team Secretary for a number of years at a time when Old Wesley was fielding up to 8 or 9 teams.
We extend our deepest sympathies to his wife Jean, children Stephen and Rachel and to his wider family. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Old Wesley.
The funeral details are as follows:
ADAMS, Nicky (Rathfarnham Dublin 16) November 8 2017; (peacefully) at the Beacon Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband and best friend of Jean; devoted father to Stephen and Rachel, adored papa of Sam. Sadly missed by his brother-in-law Stuart, son-in-law Nicky, Stephen’s partner Sinead, niece Claire and his many friends. Funeral Service this Monday at 11 am in Taney Parish Church Dundrum followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Harold’s Cross. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society.
