Norman Adams – deceased

It is with great sadness that we must inform members of the death of Norman Adams last Monday.  Norman played junior rugby in his younger days and after retiring as a player continued as a great supporter of Old Wesley.  He was a regular at club matches as well as social events.  In recent years he very much enjoyed travelling the length and breadth of the country to watch Old Wesley play in the All Ireland League.  Norman was very proud of the fact that his father, Charles, also an Old Wesley man, won 16 caps for Ireland between 1908 and 1914.

A chartered accountant by profession, Norman was a lifelong member of Malahide Cricket Club serving as Hon Treasurer for 27 years and as Club President for two terms,

Old Wesley extends its deepest sympathy to his wife Patience, sons William and Robin and the rest of his family at this very sad time.  Norman Adams will be very sadly missed by his many friends in Old Wesley.
