Old Wesley hosted a very successful charity event last Friday, 6th May.
The theme of the event was the life of Henry J Anderson, a past president of Old Wesley, Galwegians, Connacht and IRFU. Henry’s son Arthur was a also a former Old Wesley president and his grandson, Henry, who organised the event, is a very active member of Old Wesley.
The event, which included dinner, raffle and auction, included speeches and presentations by Philip Orr, Ollie Campbell and others. It was attended by over 150 guests and raised €15,000 for the IRFU Charitable Trust.
