After an exhilarating and fruitful 10-year collaboration, Old Wesley RFC and Savills Ireland have announced the conclusion of their successful sponsorship agreement, which officially ended on 30 June 2023.
Since joining forces in 2014, Old Wesley RFC has experienced one of its most triumphant periods in the history of the club, achieving an impressive collection of over 25 trophies. Notably, the team dominated the Leinster Metro league, securing 25 victories, nearly double the number of trophies earned by their closest rival winning just 14.
Simultaneously, Savills Ireland has garnered significant accolades, most notably earning the prestigious Commercial Property Agency of the Year title and previously clinching Retail Agent of the Year, Investment Agent of the Year, and Residential Agent of the Year awards.
The collaboration between Old Wesley RFC and Savills Ireland fostered deep-rooted connections within both the rugby community and beyond. These bonds are a testament to their shared values of commitment, quality, and fruitful partnerships.
Peter Squires, Chairman of Old Wesley RFC, had nothing but praise for the decade-long partnership with Savills, saying, “Old Wesley and Savills have forged a successful partnership that has surpassed all expectations. We have accomplished remarkable achievements both on and off the pitch, with 25 trophies won at the adult level and significant renovations to our clubhouse and facilities.
