Patricia Parfrey wins IRFU Volunteer Award

Patricia Parfrey wins IRFU Volunteer Award

Congratulations to Old Wesley’s Patricia Parfrey who has received an IRFU Spirit of Rugby Volunteer Award.  Patricia was one of 61 nominations by Rugby Clubs and Schools throughout the country and was deservedly voted the Leinster winner.

Patricia has been Old Wesley’s Mini & Youth Coordinator and Club Welfare Officer for many years and has also acted and assisted in a number of other club roles over the years.  She was presented with her award last Saturday by IRFU President John Robinson at a ceremony in the Aviva Stadium, prior to the Ireland v England International.

Another nomination on behalf of East Glendalough School was Graham Richmond, who is also a coach on one of Old Wesley’s junior teams.  He will receive a Valued Volunteer Certificate.

Congratulations to both Patricia and Graham on winning their awards.
