Old Wesley RFC is proud to unveil its 2025–2026 Club Programme, celebrating a new season of rugby, community, and ambition.
Building on its 135-year history, the club continues to foster a vibrant, inclusive environment for players, volunteers, and supporters of all ages and backgrounds.
This year’s programme highlights the historic appointment of Patricia Parfrey as the club’s first female President, reflecting Old Wesley’s commitment to diversity and leadership. The club’s leadership team, including Chairperson Andrew Bowers and Club Captain Kieran O’Shea, set out ambitious goals for the season, with a renewed focus on player recruitment, development, and the pursuit of promotion to Division 1A.
The document showcases the achievements of Old Wesley’s teams at every level—from the senior squad and U20s to the thriving minis, youth, girls, touch, and visually impaired rugby sections. The club celebrates record numbers of players earning representative honours with Leinster and Ireland, and the relaunch of the U20s under new management. Special features highlight the club’s commitment to inclusivity, community engagement, and the development of young talent.
With strong support from sponsors and a dedicated volunteer base, Old Wesley continues to invest in its facilities, launch new initiatives like the Men’s Shed, and plan for a sustainable future both on and off the pitch. The programme is a testament to the club’s enduring motto: “A Club for Life”—where lifelong friendships are forged, values are lived, and rugby is for everyone.
