This is a short note to update you on our website outage which occurred from 1:30pm Saturday and lasted until Monday 10:00am. Firstly, please accept our apology for the outage. We know this has been a very frustrating for members – especially with the cancellation of our AIL game and the communication issues this caused.
We have in fact been working on our web systems to reduce our exposure to this kind of risk – as our current supplier did not have 24/7 support. That’s why we are so disappointed that we were unable to move suppliers on one last piece of technology before this incident. We were in fact to move hosting control this week. We take our web security very seriously and we believe our new setup, when complete, will be much more resilient and will be fully controlled by us.
