Greetings from Donnybrook
The rugby season has begun and what a start!
Our 1st XV defeated Lansdowne in the Leinster Senior Cup and coupled with the win over UCD, we are currently placed 2nd in our Pool. Great performances by the Senior Squad who appreciated the support from Club Members.
They now turn their eyes towards the AIL and on Saturday 26th September, all roads lead to Castle Avenue, Clontarf – will you JOIN them there?
In preparation for our first home game against Cork Con on 6th October, I appeal to those yet to renew their Membership to do so now – as well as assisting the Club’s finances, one of the benefits to Members is automatic admission to all games.
A wonderful match day experience in Donnybrook is guaranteed and Michael together with his staff will have a warm welcome for you.
All other Playing Squads are training in preparation for their forthcoming games – fixture dates will appear regularly and your support at these games will be appreciated by the players
Our inaugural Member’s Shed gathering appealed to over 30 Members and friends.
Our next rendezvous is scheduled to take place on 22nd September from 10.30am in conjunction with the annual Hospice Coffee Morning – please consider joining us
(as a Club, we will raise funds on the day for this supportive organisation)
Are you a Supporters Club Draw Member?
Why not consider joining and perhaps enhance your pocket with some of the €2000 monthly winnings on offer? Smart Club Solutions | Fundraising
Our exciting Season has started, remember this is YOUR Club, a Club for Life!
Yours in rugby,
Wayne
