We are delighted to welcome SOPREMA Ireland as an Official Club Sponsor of Old Wesley RFC for the 2026/27 season.
This exciting new partnership brings together two organisations with proud histories, strong values, and a shared commitment to excellence. As Old Wesley prepares for historic competitive season on and off the pitch, we are pleased to have the support of a company that shares our belief in teamwork, integrity, and building for the future.
Since 1891, Old Wesley RFC has been at the heart of Irish rugby for more than a century, developing players, fostering community spirit, and promoting the values that make rugby special. These principles closely align with those of SOPREMA Ireland and the wider SOPREMA Group, which has been Building for Life since 1908. Both organisations understand the importance of long-term commitment, investing in people, and maintaining high standards in everything they do.
Commenting on the partnership, Richard Crocker, Managing Director of SOPREMA Ireland, said:
“We are absolutely delighted to be supporting Old Wesley RFC as we head into the 2026/27 season. Old Wesley represents everything good about Irish rugby: tradition, community, and hard work. To have SOPREMA Ireland associated with that is something I am very proud of.”
On behalf of the Club, Wayne Shridan, Old Wesley RFC President 2026/7, welcomed Soprema:
“We are delighted to welcome SOPREMA Ireland to Old Wesley RFC and sincerely thank Richard Crocker and his team for their support. This partnership is built on shared values, a commitment to quality, and a belief that strong organisations are built through trust, consistency, and community. As we look ahead to the new season, we are excited to develop a long-term relationship with SOPREMA Ireland and to work together in supporting the continued growth of the Club. We look forward to welcoming Richard and his colleagues to Donnybrook to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Old Wesley match days and to become part of the wider Old Wesley community.”
Partnerships such as this are vital to the ongoing success of the Club and help us continue to invest in rugby at every level, from youth development and mini rugby through to senior rugby and club facilities.
We look forward to working closely with SOPREMA Ireland throughout the season and thank them for their support of Old Wesley RFC.
