The Touch Rugby World Cup takes this week from the 15th to 21st July in Nottingham and it is a great honour for Old Wesley that our own Sean Ballance and Lianna Prizeman will be the flag bearers for Ireland.
Michael Kearney is Head Coach of other Irish teams which include 15 Old Wesley Women and Men.
The World Cup will be held at the Highfields Sports Complex in Nottingham, which has hosted several international rugby events in the past. The Irish teams will face tough competition from the likes of Australia, New Zealand, England, and South Africa, but they are confident and excited to showcase their talent and passion for the game.
